Water Wardens

The Government of Jamaica signed a loan with the World Bank for the funding of the Integrated Community Development Project (ICDP) with Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF) as the implementing agency. This ICDP aims to provide advanced training to at risk youths, which will provide the necessary skills set to detect water leaking pipes under and above ground. We also employed the assistance of internationally renown water specialist Dr. Kala Flemming. Over the training will cover areas such as: plumbing and leak detection, leak detection and water audit, business development and soft skills. The project is being implemented in eighteen under privileged communities in seven parishes across Jamaica.
